I bought an HDMI cable over a month ago and the first one got lost in the mail and they sent me a 2nd one for free which I got today. When I plugged it in I was very dissapointed as the image was even worst than with the VGA cable. Even though I was still sending the native res of 1280x720 it was clearly not 1:1 pixel mapping (easy to tell with small windows text) just like if I was sending a higher resolution that was being downsampled. Additionally, all 4 sides of the image were cut off.
I checked the overscan settings and by setting them both to -30 I then clearly had 1:1 pixel mapping and no more cutting off all 4 sides.
Shouldn't 0 be the setting that gives this result? If you're using HDMI on a DT-510 I'd highly recommend using -30 overscan otherwise you're not getting 1:1 pixel mapping at all and are loosing a part of the image on all 4 sides.
