Hello AVS'ers,

For anyone who has or owned a Muse 18B, I'm wondering if anyone has tried to bypass the internal crossover.

This makes sense only for those who've owned this unique sub. It has a slot for "personality cards" that were custom designed for a specific speaker. If you didn't use the card, then the crossover was fixed at 50Hz (for the high pass). At the time, (ca 1991) pre-pros like today weren't so prevalent, so you didn't use an LFE out, you used the sub to augment your main speakers.

Anyway, fast forward to now and I'd like to use this sub as the LFE sub, but to do so I need to get around the internal crossover. Anyway have any experience?
