How long was the previous Ultra subwoofer in production for? When was the PB13-Ultra introduced and when can we expect a replacement for it? I don't want to buy a PB13-Ultra now just to see a replacement model being offered soon.

The SVS models seem to be around for about 3-4 years or so. There are some new models under developement, but I doubt we will see them before the year's end and the new models are not going to replace the 13Ultra. I'd bet on at least another two years before replacement.

SVS is currently working on sealed 16 inch ultra and plus subs. They are supposed to have wireless connectivity. As mojomike noted, We shouldn't expect them out anytime soon.
You can read about them below:

And even then though, it's still a PB13 Ultra. :D Not like it's going to start performing any worse once something else comes out from SVS or any other manufacturer.

Enjoy!

I have a PB12 Ultra...and I felt bad for about half a beat when the 13 came out.

So I went an put on U-571 again and the world never sounded so good. :D
