My HT is in a finished basement with linoleum flooring over a concrete slab. I've had a problem with my subwoofers rattling on the floor. I've ordered a new subwoofer, Klipsh F-12, and would like to solve this problem when it arrives. In reading various threads and forums, some have suggested the Auralex Gramma Pad. It's hard justifying $50 for this, however, when I only paid $225 for the F-12. Other, cheap solutions?

I guess it depends whether it's worth $50 to alleviate the problem. Someone recomended to me that I obtain a several inch thick industrial felt pad as a less expensive option. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a Industrial Felt World store in my phone book.

The gramma seems to tighten up the bass response as well so there may be other advantages to its purchase.
