I keep getting random lock ups when rendering my movie. Sometimes it'll do 3 mins, next time 7 mins etc etc. when I cancel, I cannot do anything with it, I have to shut down pinnacle and try again. It then says it wasn't shut down properly, but loads the project OK. I'm using .MOD files from a canon camcorder, it loads them OK and edits, adds transitions and titles etc, its the first time I've used MOD files(new camera). Any help please. Can I uninstall Pinnacle and reinstall without losing all my hours of work ? Would this work? :)

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I have Pinnacle 12 and I have no problem downloading from my SR11 and then producing a product, including rendering.
As for uninstalling and reinstalling without losing your stuff, I don't know. Check to see where your video footage files are stored. They may be in your document files and may be safe to uninstall and reinstall the Pinnacle program without losing your saved video footage.
Hopefully someone else who has done this will chime in.
