Is there a filter/device that can stop the following issue with my Super Cube III?
After searching, I understand that the sub will make a popping noise when the audio signal kicks in - however it is quite loud and unfortunately the sub does not have a consant power on switch.
Also, again, after searching can anyone recommend an alternative to the SC III? I am looking for clean/tight bass - don't need to shake the floor much and it needs to be no larger than 12" deep (if forward firing) by 14" wide and $400 - $800 range. I have tried the following - I'm just curious if I missed any.
Martin Logan Dynamo - Very nice, just slightly boomy
Velodyne MicroVee - Nice, just not enough low end
The only other one I have looked at is the Velodyne MiniVee, but due to it's depth, It would have to fire into the wall or side of my tv cabinet -- will that work?
Overall, I like the Super Cube, but the popping is annoying.
Thanks for your help.
Dave
