Spoke to Ascend about the output of the Rythmik 15" sub and got some surprising answers. I was told... "You can expect a single Rythmik 15" (either the F15 or D15SE) to reach between 104 to 105 db output at 1 meter ground plane at 20Hz. You can expect about 8 - 12dB more output when comparing half space (ground plane) to actual in-room".

I am not sure how much less the numbers would be when compared to the 2 meter ground plane numbers that I see on some other tests. How does this compare to what you guys thought these subs would do? I am looking at a pair of them and I am curious what kind of 2 meter ground plane this would equate to for the pair. At least this would give me some comparative information to consider. I knew that they would have less output than several of the ported ID subs out there but how much?

Has anyone established how the ULS 15 does on comparative tests?

The difference between 1 meter GP and 2 meter GP I believe is 6dB.

Co-located, a pair of subs will give approximately 6dB more output than a single. Not co-located, it is closer to 3dB.

This is a good chart to compare output among different subs. A DIY Rythmik 12" sub is listed. You can expect 3-4dB more output across the board with the 15".

Thanks cs

How does these numbers stack up against a ULS15 and some of the other sealed subs?

Only thing I can tell you is that I had the ULS-15 side by side with my F15, and they were comparable to each other.
