I am well into the life of my third HD1 lamp (5000+ projector hours) and would like to attempt rebuilding one of my older spares. It seems wasteful to buy a new lamp with bulb,carrier and heatsink each time the lamp needs replacement. I would be glad to document and post the actual rebuild if I knew what type and where to go for just the bulb. Walt

The fully assembled bulb is cheap enough! Relatively speaking. The reflectors degrade from the heat. Why bother?
