About a month ago I had upgraded to Directv HD.
Because of a tree in the way the Directv Tech said that I was lucky that he was able to point the dish at a satellite that mirrors the other ones. So therefore the setup to get the HD programming was possible.
Now with the dish being only pointed to one satellite will I be missing out on anything? Would I be better off cutting down the tree in the way so that a "normal" setup with the dish could be done?
My thoughts are that if I am connecting to only one satellite then that leaves me open to more problems that if I had a variety of satellites?

Thank-You

You willl not be able to get all of the programing. Need to trim or cut down the trees for a clear path. Still winter and depending on the type of trees, leaves will come out and make it worse.

What is your dish model?

Does it have 2 or 3 LMB's?
