I am putting a drop ceiling in my new basement home theater. I was hoping to use in ceiling speakers for the rear speakers in my system. The problem is that my iving room is directly above this. What is the best way in insulate above these speakers?

Instructions from my inceiling speakers I recently put in my recreation room said if insulation is used to use unfaced insulation.

This isn't your question, but you could also use an in-ceiling speaker baffle depending on which kind it is. Some don't need one so it is difficult to recommend whether it may help or not.
