Was just wondering if anybody knew where/how I could find glass cabinet doors. Im making a custom enclosure and I need a front door for an 18x32 opening. Preferably smoked glass. Any suggestions?

BIGmouthinDC 03-05-09, 11:28 PM Option 1 - You buy a kitchen cabinet door designed for a panel of glass then you go get a custom piece of glass at your local glass supplier. One source:http://www.maplecraftusa.com/ Option 2- go for a frame-less look, with hinges designed for a glass panel and get a custom piece of glass at your local shop. You can get the hardware at Rockler.com http://images.rockler.com/rockler/images/37228-md.jpg jamis 03-06-09, 07:02 AM I had a local glass cutting shop make the door for me. Once it was all framed out with the rails and a few shelves mounted, I measured the opening again and subtracted 1/8" all around for the dimensions of the glass. Total cost was about $75 for the 1/4" tinted plate glass and about $15-20 for the no-bore hinges, strike plate, magnetic catch, and no-bore handle from rockler.com http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=131&filter=no%20bore http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=136&filter=no%20bore http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=134&filter=glass%20hinge http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=142&filter=magnetic%20catch BIGmouthinDC 03-06-09, 08:38 AM jamis, all your links point to the home page. jamis 03-06-09, 08:42 AM Fixed. I gotta remember to cut and paste URLs from the edit window and not directly from the post since vBulletin seems to 'shorten' them to a max length.
