Love this movie. :)
Can't believe that LFE on that DD 5.1 track though. *ahem* Excuse me, 'Six-track Dolby stereo'.
That LFE goes lower than a lot of modern movies do sometimes. :p Should sound awesome in TrueHD 7.1 when it comes out on Blu in a few months.

WOW, that's impressive, not the movie (well, yea the movie is a good one) but the scene capture as well as the low frequency "graphs" are awesome. Someone has new software! The soundtrack is one of the better Star Trek soundtracks, but it's just the music from the movie.
EXCELLANT, I want to see more! The Pirates trillogy has some very deep frequencies. Well, the soundtracks do and as I recall the movies do also. :)

I might have cheap solution for this as I’m testing it right now using spectrumlab and Star Trek II Reliant attacks Enterprise. I’ll post up spectrumlab frequency of in-room response with ECM8000 placed at middle of the room in front and new spot where I’ve shifted the sofa too.
Result is less boom and some pulse slam Khan phaser attacks hitting the Enterprise tend to vibrate the back of the sofa with smoother differences, less dips in frequency response.
okay its getting late and I have to make this a quick one. I’ll post video youtube link around midnight UK time.

Okay strong use of colourful 18 lanauange on this video as I get stressed out big time, so if your Mormon cover your ears now! Oh, camera work is dodgy, just like Cloverfield so you want no the difference. LOL :D Enjoy.
Star Trek II Spectrumlab frequency response in three spots!
