I'm thinking my sony mini dv is shot because when I try to take videos I see kind of distortion blue and brownish streaks like a curtain in front of what I want to take. I've tried new tapes I tried resetting the camcorder. It plays back fine. So is it shot? Anyone ever experience anything like this? It's been in storage for about six or seven months, climate controlled.
