I'm interested in getting people's responses to how well your sub does with this thing. Some seriously intense bass in here and it shook the walls with even my lowly 10" eD sub. :eek:

Yeah, I remember when I first saw it (Star Wars Clone Wars BD). It was amazing how it was shaking the house.

I got that file downloaded--it's a .m2ts file. How do I get it to play on my system? I couldn't even get it to burn to a DVD

I use this as a demo at reference levels. I should measure what spl I am getting from the shroom. Awesome bass for sure.

I get some serious wall resonance from that and pretty much anything that goes 22hz down with some real volume.

This one is played before very film @ the 100% THX cert. Warren here in Oklahoma City(only one in the U.S. 100% cert.!) ...yes it's an awesome intro!

Sweet demo, but I received hardly any bass output from my Mirage Omni S8... supposed to do 25hz-whatever +/- 3db... I'm pretty sure it was bottoming out... and it's set at -8db on my Onkyo 506...the rest of the demo however sounded very sweet on my AV123 ELT 525 5.0 speakers.

I have recently thought about upgrading my sub... at first it was a huge improvement from my Klipsch 4.1 computer speakers subwoofer and I was very happy... but as I began watching Blu Ray discs I've really noticed that the sub is pretty inadequate and now I want better. Plus I'm spoiled by my IDMAX 12" in my car... so lately I have been wanting a lot more from my Mirage Omnni S8.

I was thinking about jumping on the BIC F12 deal, but I don't know if I want another budget sub that I will probably end up wanting more from.

I think I'm going to invest about $400 in a new sub and check out the ED A2-250, A2-300, and PB10-NSD.

Do yourself a favor and save for a GOOD sub...I'm not saying that the subs you mentioned aren't bad, I'm just saying if you spend about a grand on a SUPER sub that will supersede your car woofer system, you will never go back:cool:

You'll need to play it on a HTPC, PS3, or another HD media playback device. DVD player won't handle it.

I rented the Indiana Jones BR the other day, and had my ears out and ready for the THX Amazing Life trailer before the movie. It is a nice trailer, the whole sound spectrum..from the great surround effects to the very low bass sounded fantastic...my BIC F12 handled the lows fine.

The room, house, and sofa all shook...awesome!! I will use this to demo my system for guests. They are in for a big surprise...:D.
