Hi all,

This may be a stupid question, but I noticed that DVE has several discs to choose from. I noticed that there is one that is labeled DVE HD Basics but it has stamped HD DVD. I have a Pioneer Elite 47ai player and a Pioneer Elite Plasma that I wish to run this on.

Is the DVE forementioned a HDDVD or can it be played on a regular DVD player like the Elite 47ai?

Thanks for any help.

Greetings

The original HD DVD DVE is a combo disc so it plays on both. You will have to look at the disc label closely to see if the HD basics is a combo disc too. Otherwise, it will not play on your DVD player.

Your DVD player is a standard player. It will not play HD DVD or Blu-ray discs. 'DVE: HD Basics' is available in both HD DVD and Blu-ray only. The 'HD DVE' disc was a combo disc with the original DVD version of the program on one side and a new version of the program in the HD DVD format on the the other side.
