Hi,

I am unable to get any audio via the optical out on the WD TV.

I have set the audio setting to digital and I have an toslink cable connected from the WD TV to an old Digitheatre DTS decoder. When I try to play any MKV file, I either get silence or cracking sounds.

I am able to connect my PS3 to the optical input of the Digitheatre without problems so was wondering if I might have a defective WD TV.

Another possibility could be the frequency of the output of the WD TV might not be supported by the Digitheatre DTS decoder. Does anyone know what frequency is output the the toslink on the WD TV and if it is possible to change it?
