Well here it goes..
I'm using Digital output on my tvix-4100 to my Yamaha 1000 DTS amp. the weird thing happened few days ago:

The audio (music) is OK on MVK files in Digital 2-6 channel,, untill subtitle (vocal audio) starts,, then all sound drops out (no sound at all) and function on the remote becomes unstable?. Can't use the stop button and so on..
Example. I start a mkv file and movie and audio begins ,, then i press info on remote and audio sound disappears, movie goes on muted...
I have the latest firmvare and I have wached all my MKV files earlier on with the same system and amp, so this is a stab in the back for me.


This only happenes to MKV files. I'm using the digital cable for all other files and everything is ok.

any suggestions.

Well I just have to tell the sollution.

the problem was the subtitle. It's possible to arrange the position of the sub in movies. And my son (I assume) must have moved the subtext all the way to the bottom of the screen (barely visible the top line of text) ... So today I just moved the subtext to the top and for some odd reason everything went back to normal.. sound is back to normal and everything is how it's supposed to be..

weird right ? :)
