Has anyone gotten a chance to sit in these two? how do they compare? I have a couple of good offers for both in bonded leather and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two.

View Full Version : 45004 or 12003? DJGeo 03-10-09, 11:51 AM Has anyone gotten a chance to sit in these two? how do they compare? I have a couple of good offers for both in bonded leather and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two. rsh 03-10-09, 04:07 PM These are very different recliners. The 12003 is an imported version of the 45094. It has a chaise design, taller back, storage compartment and trays that can be mounted on top of the armrest. Much more comfortable if you ask me. The 45004 has a narrower footprint, though. The 13175 is similar to the 45004 and to me is more comfortable as well. TheaterSeatStore 03-11-09, 12:20 PM Both are nice seats for very different reasons as referenced in the previous post. If the decision was up to me, I would choose the 12003 because the seat is large, has storage in the armrest and I personally like the chaise style footrest from a design perspective. There are people that say it provides better leg support but I am not sure whether I agree entirely. The style of a chaise seat just looks a lot 'cleaner' because that is all one continuous piece. The armrests are also slightly wider which is another feature I prefer. heebdawg16 03-11-09, 01:22 PM Well, I just ordered a set of 12003's last night from a well known vendor who may or may not have posted in this thread already :D I too liked the fact that the backs of the 12003s are very high, and the arm rests are wide, and have storage. I also really like the fact that they come with mountable tray tables, because realistically I will eat dinner or snack occasionally while watching a movie, and this makes it all that much easier to do so. |
