I really need someone with knowledge in this area to help me claibrate my HDTv. I have a Samsung 27" LNS-2738D, adn really need Recemmended setting for the Contrast, Brightness, Tint, Color, Color tone, and sharpness for it. The calibration DVDs do work just follow the instructions.

Your contrast should be set to not clip or discolor white and be at a comfortable level if you have to wear sunglasses it is to high.

Brightness should be set to just above blacker than black.

Color/Tint so that the blue/white and magenta/cyan are the same when looking through a blue filter.

Sharpness turn up/down until you don't see any extra edges but also is not soft.
