Hulu on my ps3 was working fine for weeks. All of a sudden, this morning when i try to view a video im getting "sorry but this video is unavailable at this time" message. I tried hulu on my pc to see if maybe hulu was having probs, but it worked fine. What happened here? There was no ps3 update, and i just dont understand why all of a sudden its not working anymore..
does anybody know why? or maybe a possible fix?

Not sure... I haven't used used hulu on the ps3 in a while, but this was just announced yesterday. LINK (http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/10/nbc-universal-content-now-available-on-playstation-network/) Maybe they're trying to get you to use the paid service.

Confirmed. Hulu.com does not work. You would think they would leave the PS3 browser alone with such terrible frame rates and crappy quality. But no. Guess it's back to torrents without commercials. Thanks hulu.

If Hulu has discontinued support for the PS3 browser, isn't it likely that they'll discontinue support for PlayOn soon? Why would they support one but not the other?

Not exactly. I get plenty of data corrupted messages. Just be warned if you buy playon, it will not work all the time. More like 50% of the time. It is very frustrating to sit down to watch a show and spend an hour researching the problem, restarting everything, and downloading updates. Even then it still sometimes doesn't work.

I only get the "data corrupted" messages with Netflix content, never with Hulu.
