Just noticed this post and it's almost exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm at work so I can't view YouTube, but are there both daytime and low-light (nighttime) videos online?
I'm trying to compare this to the HF11 daytime/nighttime.

Just downloaded the video.
WOW!
With out a doubt the sharpest video I've watched.
Looks like a professional grade video.
My HF100 looks like a blurry mess compared this! :-)
The very second the HF200 hits 500$ It's mine!

Watch impress review of the HF20
Plenty of videos to download.
Still on the fence about just how much more detail/sharpness this will be over my HF100
675x600 = 40500 HF100/10/11
800x900 = 72000 HF20/200
That's nearly a 1/3 higher resolution!
This Vimeo HF20 video looks really good, although it's in good light:

thanks for the vids - the youtube ones are a bit choppy, but i'm sure that's just youtube.

It may be the pc you are watching them from...
I've seen HD content on a Pentium 4/low RAM/old video card look real choppy... where the same online video on a quad core with sufficient RAM/card looked very smooth.

the other vids I'm finding on the HF20 on youtube seem fine, but the ones posted are choppy.

Yeah, but indoor it needs a videolight, so the HF11 we just bought is more practical. At some point one just has to get off the fence, and we went for the HF11, wich has the added advantage of being 90,- euro less expensive.
You need to revisit your sums as it is just over 50% more resolution.
