Fresh install of Windows XP SP3 Retail, MSDN copy and legit. I installed ExDues' firewire drivers stb_firewire_drivers_2009-02-25.zip. And my 8300HDC was recognized as an 8300HD. I imagine there shouldn't be any difference in how the Firewire functionality works.
Using the standard defaults of
* Convert 188 bytes
* Check PTS
* Delete to SyncByte
recording PBS-DT on Cox Arizona shows 720x480 29.97fps @ 15Mbps.
The file expands in size however nothing is watchable and after a minute or sooner CapDVHS crashes.
Should I be running SP2 only? Or am I missing something.
