Hi,

I have an Olevia 720p TV that doesn't come with a tuner. It has HDMI, component, composite, and VGA inputs. Recently I cancelled Dish Network, and ordered the Zenith DTT901 digital to analog converter.

Just got it today, tried it, and realized I can't get HD with this, but only 480i. The converter is connected to the TV using composite cables. The Zenith website also states it only displays in 480i resolution.

Looks like there is no way to get HD with this converter right? Is there any other way for me to get OTA HD (besides connecting a PC with digital tuner to my Olevia which I don't want to do)

Thanks

The DTT 901 is one of the coupon boxes and that's why it doesn't output HD. It also doesn't output multichannel digital audio. You need to buy an HD STB.

Thanks guys. I should have checked here first before wasting $45 on the Zenith DTT901 that got so many good reviews on Amazon (I don't have a coupon).

The Centronics ZAT502 is pretty affordable, and that's what I'm going to get. Unfortunately, they are out of stock everywhere at the moment.
