Not necessarily. The iTunes Pro(?) tracks don't have the DRM. So it depends on the version you bought.

I buy MP3's on Amazon.

He is talking about MP4 files, which are video, not mp3s.

I play mp4 files that I download from other sources without an issue, so get DRM free files and it will work.
