i have a DCH6200 HD box. the remote works perfectly when the room is lit. unfortunately, the room is a bedroom and when the lights are out, the remote is very hard to get to work, requiring me to push the buttons numerous times before the reciever will read the signal. i have tried several remotes and this happens with all the remotes i have tried. they work perfect during the day and teribly at night.

any ideas????

Do you have any flouresant lights on in the room at night that you do not have on during the day? If yes they may be causing IR interference.
