I just bought a Samsung LN40A530 (40" LCD) and hooked it to my existing Philips DVP-5960 upconverting DVD player. I hooked it up and got no audio over the HDMI connection. I plugged into the port labeled HDMI/DVI because that input had an analog audio connection and when I hooked up the analog audio I got nothing that way either. The only way to get audio was to hook it up to a component input but I lose the upconverting ability.

Any suggestions?
