In trying to convert 5.1 96khz 24bit flac to a ps3 format i have found that foobar2000 conversion to even 2ch 16bit wav does not work. However nero vision can create a mp4 file containing PS3 friendly AVC and 5.1 Dolby Digital. You need to add in a dummy video for it to work. This is good but now to get better quality we need DTS.

This is possible through using tsMuxeR_1.8.24b and h264info tool on the demuxed files, changing the profile to 4.1 before remuxing, again with a dummy video file. While not lossless, this is the highest fidelity option right now.
