i understand this game can be very challenging if you're not very creative. i have a couple of friends who bought it and said they couldn't hardly make anything because they're not as creative as they once thought lol

The great thing about the game is the "YouTube" factor. Even if you have no interest or ability in creating levels yourself, you and your friends can have a lot of fun playing levels that other people created. Just like how only a small fraction of the people checking out YouTube every day actually upload videos.

I gotta go with what Jremy said. However if you are creative and like making maps it could only increase the enjoyment of the game for you. I know my little cousins who are 8-12 enjoy doing the Little Big planet equivalent of doodling on map creator.

Their maps are crap but they just enjoy making it stuff like most kids enjoy drawing or playing with lego's. For them the end product really isn't that important. Its just the fun they can have in the process.

Pretty much, it's two things in one, a platformer with it's stock levels and user generated levels; and a level editor to create your own.

If you don't build, arguably there's less "replayability" then if you did, but there's still thousands of user created levels to keep the game fresh and new.

it's for both i would say. i'm not creative yet i still try to create, it's fun to try and just create some odd vehicle and see how many times you kill your little sack person.
