I tried this for the first time last night but was completely unsuccessful in getting a picture to display on the Sharp using a 12' DVI/DVI cable from my 17" 2.16 GHz Core Duo MBP running 10.5.6.

The MBP Display System Preferences window does recognize the Sharp as it shows a separate window when connected, but no matter what I've tried, the TV still only shows a black screen.

- Tried restarting TV
- Tried restarting MBP
- Tried changing DVI port on TV from Auto to Digital and back
- Tried changing MBP Display from mirrored to not mirrored and back
- Tried changing MBP Display resolution for TV to other settings

Any ideas?
