I am new to this site and have a question..
I am thinking about useing this antenna
Winegard HD 7697P High Definition VHF/UHF HDHD769 Series Antenna
But it has a range of 60 miles VHF & 50 miles UHF and there are some channels 90+ miles away we would like to get.. Will this work?
I am going to put the antenna around 30 to 40 feet up...
The other question I have is..
What would be the best amp/preamp and coax size to run?
Ill be running about 80 feet of coax from the antenna to the house and around 50 feet in the house..

Brazenoaks,

Can you post your "digital post-transition" TV FOOL report? This will give us a better idea of what you can expect.

Thanks

you have a cluster of stations coming in from different directions so you might have to stack 2 or get a rotor and aim using antennaweb

Pretty good chance that any pre-amp you install is going to overload (or cause a tuner overload) due to strong locals instead helping your get those distant locals.

It's worth a try, but keep that in mind.
