Does anyone know if there is an architectural version of a Chauvet TFX-DC4 Stage 4 Lighting Controller out there (any brand)? It appears that they don't make an arch version that is also sound activated like the Stage 4, which only takes AC.

I haven't had much luck finding anything else remotely close to that price point, and I don't really need an elaborate setup. I am trying to build a small dance floor in my home theater basement using recessed can lighting with colored bulbs. That way I can just switch out the bulbs and not have permanent disco lights when we go to sell the house.

I am new to the lighting arena, and could use any advice. Thanks.

I looked at that unit and I don't understand why you think it won't work for your application. Just mount it in a box recessed on the wall.

Thanks for looking into it for me. The unit won't work because it has AC outlets in the rear, and I need to plug in the recessed lights via 14/2 Romex/NMG wire. It needs to be architectural grade with inputs for the wires and not an AC plug.

Amazing basement, by the way. You have a lot of elements that I want to try to incorporate into mine. I need to get my pics uploaded....
