Hi

I need some help in order to calibrate my HP lp2475w for sRGB (eye
one display 2 + icolor display). This is the best result:

but grayscale gradients show banding (like greenish vertical stripes
on the dark side). Note it is not linear on dark side.

I don't know if this is correct, but calibrating for (custom)
gamma=2.3, the response curve is near perfect:

however, the banding still remains, to a lesser extent though, but
not smooth.

I'm a newbie, and I don't know if there is anything I can do, or my
display is defective, or... Some help is apprecited, thank you

Did you sort this out?
I'm about to buy an NEC P221W that CAN be hardware calibrated - but I just read, that this HP lp2475w is far better. But I'm not sure if it can be hardware calibrated? I will only be needing it for highend photography retouch (and can't effort a topdollar EIZO..)
