This game is a hoot. It's going to be a real hit at parties I predict. Easily worth the $5 if you are a Buzz fan.

Can you give some deets? I skipped over it since it has been a long time since I could be considered a "junior."

It is up to 4 players, and you are in competition with each other. There is no online play.

It's a "cutesy" game. You go through several different short games, each very different. The first you have to push each of the different color buttons to match the bottom "head" on the totem pole. The first to go through the stack wins. One thing about this level, it's different to think about the COLORS on the buttons rather than the location (1-4).

There's a level called "Bubble Bath" where the 4 players are in a pond, and you try to make fart bubbles for as long as possible without the ape in the middle catching you. I can see kids finding this VERY entertaining.

I only played a couple of rounds, so I don't remember all the exact details, (plus it was after a night of Irish beer), but they all have an element of party fun. I can see this game being played on one of my systems during parties a lot, something different than Rock Band, SingStar and DDR. I don't know of another regular "game" that lends itself to party fun like this one (again excluding RB, SS and DDR).

Just to make sure everyone understands, you DO NEED the Buzz buzzers.

Also, the games are not the same as the PS2 version with the same name. I read a review of it, and it seems to have entirely different mini-games within it.

I have both the PS2 version and I just recently purchased it online and the only difference that I can see so far is that if you play a 1, 2, or 3 player human game, then the CPU will take the extra slots. In the PS2 version, this does not happen. I have kids that are 5 and 10 and they like the PS2 version because they can play against each other without worrying about the computer always winning.

Not sure why they changed it, but since I have both and both work on the PS3, it isn't a problem.

The only minor gripe is that there are no trophies. Not that I care because the kids play it more than I do, but I am surprised as Sony claimed all games come Jan. 1 had to have trophies. Not sure how they got around it with this game.

Also, I haven't noticed any new mini games with the PS3 download version, so I may look again when the kids are playing.

Interesting, because the screenshots and reviews I read for the PS2 version did not seem to have the same levels inside as the PS3 version.

I just ordered Buzz at Amazon, I wish I didn't miss the Newegg deal during X-mas, but oh well. I will pick up this and a few other DLC packs.

My kids (8 and 6) both love it.

I thought the game was bugged the first time we played it, though. On the "pass the bomb" game, the lone CPU player wouldn't give up the bomb. It would explode on him, then the next round, he'd get it first. So we sat there for four rounds watching him blow up.

This hasn't happened since, though.

There's a certain amount of randomness in this game that can prevent a better player from dominating, but I can see kids getting frustrated because the CPU players tend to be what I'd consider above average, especially in that card game.

I've only seen the CPU monkey hold the bomb until it blew up once.

That's a good point jrinck, maybe they should have allowed the user to pick a difficulty level... even the old Atari 2600 games sometimes had a kids' (teddy bear) level.

My 10yo daughter will see it this weekend, I'm sure she's going to want to play over and over. There aren't many games that the whole family can play - especially competition games where kids have a chance - on the PS3.

Funny enough, same thing happened to us. The first monkey which was the Blue monkey wouldn't pass the bomb and it just blew up on him each round.

This bug doesn't seem to happen on the PS2 version.

Guess something got lost in the translation to the PS3 version.
