Hello, I'm looking to spend about 1000$ on a nice 7.1 speaker setup for my onkyo SR706. The 1000$ is for the speakers only, so I'm hoping I can do decently well. I would like possibly bookshelf sized speakers in the front and small speakers that can be mounted on the side/rear.

So the setup with 3 pairs of SBS-01 Speakers an SCS-01 Center and the 10" sub for 1057$ would be the package you suggest?

I would also look at the ELT525 5.0 package on AV123.

www.emotiva.com Speaker package 4 @ $761 w/free shipping. Get an SVS PB10-NSD sub on sale for $399 and call it a day. I know its a little over your budget but you would be hard pressed to buy another set of speakers this good for even twice the price IMHO.
