I'm pretty close to getting some Palliser seating for my HT. I'm just wondering for Palliser owners, how long people have owned them and how well they hold up over the years?

Dear shponglefan,

We have represented Palliser as a seating option for home theater now for over two years and we make a point of asking our Palliser customers how they experience the seating after a few months of ownership. I cannot recall in any instance where we have had anyone ever say anything but good things about the seats. In terms of quality they are comparable to Berkline and in some respects maybe even better because their warranty is more extensive than Berkline's. Palliser warrant the material and power recline mechanisms to three years compared to one year with Berkline. We have kept one Palliser Flashback model in our warehouse as a floor sample now for over a year and it gets plenty of use and there are no visible issues with the seat. The two unique characteristics about Palliser when compared to other major manufacturers, is the fact that they offer more contemporary styles than most and they offer a wider range of seats that are built on a small footprint so that they work well where space is in short supply.

I have a row of four Palliser Sequelle's in black leather. Mine are NOT power recline. Overall I'm happy with them. They look nice and like the previous poster stated don't take up too much space.

My one complaint is that they don't recline "all the way back". I've sat in Berk's and they recline farther back. The problem with this is they tend to not stay back. IOW, while I'm sitting in the seats I'm always fidgiting to keep the seat reclined.

You're fidgiting in the Pallisers or the Berk's? Thx.

I have had my Pallisers for four years now. They are the manual type but everything still works just like it did on day one. The leather is starting to get some wrinkles, but that just add to the seats IMO. We use the theater about four times a week for an average of two hours a night. The photo below is the first row of seating. I sit in the center seat. I am 5'9" 190lb. I don’t have any problem with the recline position.

I'm fidgiting in the Pallisers. They just won't stay all the way reclined. Seems like if I move a little the chair returns to the state that's upright with the legs up.

I love the look of the chairs and the quality is great. Maybe I didn't put them together the best. Although there's really not much to putting them together.
