TV 46" Panasonic, but I'm confused on which one to buy the THC46FD18
or TH46PZ85, I have done some reading on this and can not find much of
a difference except for the price, can any one help me.

isn't the THC46FD18 a model thats carried by Sams Club and Costco?
I believe its the same set with a different finish

I'm new at this so if it sounds dumb sorry, I'm looking at buying a plasma TV 46" Panasonic, but I'm confused on which one to buy the THC46FD18 or TH46PZ85, I have done some reading on this and can not find much of a difference except for the price, can any one help me.The TH-C46FD18 is the Costco/Sams Club version of the TH-46PZ80U, which is a teensy step down from the TH-46PZ85U. There are some threads and a lot of posts about the FD18. All three of these TVs look great but if you're looking to save money, the FD18 gives good bang for the buck. FWIW all of these models are recently discontinued.

Thanks for the reply, from what I have read the only differents I can see is that the TH46px85 has a greater true contrast ratio 30,000:1 where the THC46fd18 has 20,000:1
is the extra true contrast ratio worth the extra money. I know Best Buy Canada has the
THC46fd18 on sale right which ends tomorrow.
