Just wondering what type of cable I need in order to hook up my external Vantec harddrive to my 8300 rogers cable box So I can increase the recording capacity? Is it Esata to Esata or Esata to sata or sata to sata?

I am confused.

The connection on the SA8300 is eSATA. As for what cable you need, that would depend on the connection of your external Vantec drive.
