I'm looking at purchasing the Pioneer Elite (Signature) Pro-101FD.

Does anyone know if this display ships with the table top stand included?

Or, would I have to buy the table top stand seperately?

I will eventually wall-mount the unit, but initially (for the first few months), I will not have it on the wall, so I need that table top stand.

Over the phone, a salesman at the store I'm looking to buy from said the table top stand is sold seperately (I'm hoping he's incorrect), while another store I've been to said the stand comes with the unit. Some clarification from someone familiar with the 101FD would be great.

Nope they do not come in the box unless you buy them seperately. Try Pioneer web site they have been VERY hard to get anywhere else.

One other question, Roman -- if you had a chance to get the 101-FD (with the stand's price from Pioneer.com included) for a little less than the 111-FD, would you? (I already have a surround sound set-up and HD sat receiver.)

I guess what I'm saying is am I missing out on anything by going with the 101 over the 111?

Are table top stands from other Pioneer Elite generations and versions compatible with each other? (Would, say, a G8 50" Elite stand fit the 101FD Signature?)

They are pretty good at shipping them but I would call and verify. That would be my first choice since the pricing is not bad on them. If you dont need tuner, speakers for sure its the way to go. Cant go wrong with either.
