I have a Mac Mini that is connected to my Motorola 6200 STB via Firewire. I am able to record programs using Virtual DVHS, but I'd like to find a way to schedule recordings. I have tried Firerecord v0.4 (aka iRecord), but have been unsuccessful in getting the program to recognize that my STB has a tuner. I have read that someone has written an iCal script to do the same thing, but all the posts direct readers to a dead link (the one that takes you to a mac_hdtv_timer.home.comcast.net address). If anyone out there has the script, can you please share it with me? Alternatively, if you have any suggestions on how to get Firerecord to recognize the fact that my STB has a tuner, that would also be very helpful. I have tried turning things on and off in various order to no avail. I am, however, able to successfully record programs by directly pushing the "record" button in Virtual DVHS.
