Now that we will finally have our own house(Yay) I'm ready to setup some decent whole house audio. My current setup consist of a Mac Mini loaded with iTunes that controls a bunch of airport expresses in each room(http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/). I have a kitchen setup and a bredroom setup in addition to the living room which has the tv/audio/mini setup. It works great but I want to install in wall speakers and have a volume control knob in each room so it can be turned down or shut off. So, to get to my questions...

1.) What's the best way to control the audio to the speakers without each have an amp? I'm thinking of these speakers (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10837&cs_id=1083701&p_id=4102&seq=1&format=6#faq).
2.) The airport express allows me to get the music to the room without wires but what's the easiest way to get the audio from the airport express to the speakers? The rooms have hardwoods so I can't run it under the rug and running wire around the room through that many studs would be a nightmare.

Would something like this (http://www.*******************.com/vmimmaslvoco.html) work for volume control? I don't know how much power the airport express outputs.
