Hello all and thanks in advance.

My son is in the top 5 on xbox 360 battlefield bad co. (gamer tag Unholy Birth) and wanted me to find a way to record his game play using our pc, but doesnt want to lose the HD quality on the TV.

So, I purchased the xbox 360 VGA cable, a VGA splitter amp, new cables and attempted to record: no luck, as the video displayed on my pc was very garbled.

Do I need to purchase a vga to s-video converter box to get the correct signal to input to my AIW 9700 pro?

The first image is what I currently have. The second is what I think I need. Any ideas?

I almost have this set up and working, its just the signal doesnt seem correct into the pc.
