I can't seem to find a dedicated/consolidated thread that compiles, compares and discusses BD calibration disc's. A single thread that would offer feedback, testimonials, insight, suggestions and recommendations of the various Blu-Ray calibration media offerings. I'm aware of the most commercially popular two disc’s (DVE & AVIA) but would be interested in potential alternatives that the A/V community finds worthy. I can't be the only enthusiast that would find value in such a topic -- if this thread already exists, please link or PM....
Thanks a bunch.

Avia II is DVD
DVE HD is blu-ray

Avia I lacked BTB patterns

All discs GetGray, AVIA I&II, DVE, DVE HD basically get the job done in the same way and I wouldn't say any of them are better or worse than any other for actual calibration.

They might be different by a pattern or two, but the biggest differences will be in their tutorial information.

If you don't need any of that tutorial crap and just need some patterns on blu-ray our local AVS REC.709 disc is great.
