I have had two disasters trying to replace one of my HR21-700's.

I have no problem paying for a new one and a new lease, the two I have I bought from Best Buy a few years ago.

Unfortunately none of the Best Buy's have any in stock.

Occasionally I see the HR23 on e-bay for sale.

If I buy it from an e-bay seller will Directv accept the unit.

Obviously I am saying that unless the unit is stolen then the paypal return would have to be applied for which is not a Directv issue.

I don't think you can use any previously registered receivers from DTV. I tried once and was told it was registered to another user and should have been returned to DTV.
