I am the owner of a Samsung LN52a630 calibrated. It is a good set however I am more relaxed watching plasmas it seems.
I am looking at a sammy 50 inch the 760 but I can not find that it will do 24p natively in the specs. As a matter of fact the Kuro is the only one I could find that said it does 96k for 24p sources.
should I just stick with my lcd until plasma supports the new tech natively?

The KURO's display 24p signals at 72 Hz, not 96 Hz. My advice is to get a KURO while you still can. :)
kuro might be the best option available right now for many reasons but not because of the 24p 72hz settings. do not buy into the hype over this feature. if you buy a tv based only on this you may regret it. see below link.

Thanks for the article. You will notice that judder occurs with 3:2 pulldown because everything is 60hz including most plasmas. The point I was making was now I get 5:5 with my lcd and blu ray looks very solid on the 120hz set. The cable leaves a lot to be desired I get elastic faces and motion blur hardly any on bluray. Maybe I should just go for a dlp they are being sold at fire prices.

That is a very funny article. If the TV showed is at 24 then yes it would look bad BUT it does not Panny shows it at 48, Pio at 72, lcds 120 what you get is the same you see at the theater as they show it at 48 or 72 depending on the projector used.
The person that wrote that should learn how to set up his projector as most people are very happy seeing a movie at the theater. Is there film judder yes but that would be the film "look" it is how it is suppose to look.
