About a year ago, I bought a Western Digital My DVR expander to hook up a to the eSATA port of a Time Warner DVR cable box. It worked fine, except it shut down the live buffer function (i.e. when watching live TV, I couldn't rewind or fast forward). I was under the impression that it had something to do with the fact that the TWC box was running Passport. Or so I read on other postings.

My service is now running on Mystro and I was wondering if the live buffer problem would be fixed on that software.

Here is my current configuration:

Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC DVR
Mystro ODN v2.4.10_11
Time Warner Cable NYC
