My graphics card on my PC has an HDMI output. Connecting my PC to my monitor, which has an HDMI input, works fine. However, when I try using my Samsung PN50A650 plasma TV as a monitor, I get nothing, the TV does not even recognize any input when I plug it in. I've tried using different HDMI ports, and yes they all are working, and have tried restarting the PC and television. Anyone know whats going on here? Any help would be great. Thanks.:)

what resolution are you outputting from your pc? is it one that your display will accept?

yes, I set the resolution to 1920x1080 before I try to hook it up to the TV. The TV is 1080p.

best place to look would be in the htpc threads then... those are very active and someone will be able to help you....
