I have a center channel (CLR2300BLA) and two floorstanding speakers ( BP7006BLA) and my reciever is a pioneer elite (VSX-01TXH).(I have new rear speakers too, but setting those up tomorrow.) I used the auto calibrate mic on the reciever just like the manual said and it worked perfectly. All three speakers passed all the audio tests and it seemed all good. Then I popped a blu ray movie in my ps3 and everything loaded up great. So then the movie started and my floorstanding speakers (BP7006BLA) sounded amazing really was impressed the (audio setting is on PCM by the way, because that is the way the ps3 gets its audio through hdmi) then the voices started and I could barely here the voices and the voices came out odd not even like how it should be(their voices were distorted in away. So I checked all my connections and it is all set up correct. Then when I clicked the advanced surrond sound button on my reciever it set the sound for an action movie setting and all three speakers worked fine and the voices were their except now the floorstanding speakers do not sound as good as they did.Plus it should all just work I shouldnt have to change the reciever settings it should just work through the PCM setting. I know its a long question sorry about that but I wanted to provide as much detail as possible. Anyways my question is what do you think is wrong with the center channel? and how do I fix it?

I have a similar Def. Tech. set up, so I think I can help. You do realize you're on the subwoofer forum. First let's talk about how the front three are hooked up because they are "powered" and you have different set up options. Please share this first. Also, any surrounds in the system? What's the "BLA" in your model numbers?
