I have read countless threads about which receiver to get and many of them seem to suffer from poor HDMI switching. I have 3 HDMI devices so I am looking for at least three inputs. I also want one that switches correctly without many of the issues I keep reading about (sound not working, blank screen, sparkles, etc). Is there a receiver that someone can recommend under $400 that has reliable switching? Thanks in advance!

If you are ready to buy now, ShopOnkyo has some great deals on refurbished receivers. Some of the buyers of late are saying they have gotten a new one, no prior signs of use. Anyway, they have a 10% off deal this weekend, with free shipping. Go here (http://shoponkyo.com/products.cfm?group_id=1&subcat=Receiver)and take a look. They make a pretty good receiver and the 606 and 706 have some pretty good power for right at $400. I think the 606s are sold out. The 706 for $430 is a great deal.
