Have a MacPro and about to build a Windows HTPC for my HT. Can I install a LG Blu-Ray HD DVD drive in my MacPro and use Windows/Fusion/AnyDVD HD to rip my Blu-ras and HD DVD's?

1) Will it fit (in lower slot)?
2) Are there any Mac drivers for it?
3) If no Mac drivers can it still work under Windows/Fusion?

I put one in my lower drive slot. I used a snaked SATA cable but you can use a sata-ide converter.

1. It fits, since it is the normal size/position of a DVD drive.

2. The mac reads it and I have attempted to rip under mac, but it is much easier to use VMware Fusion and rip them under XP via AnyDVD HD

3. XP sees the drives fine. I give the XP virtual machine exclusive access to the drive and it has ripped everything I needed so far (even the newer encrypted discs)

4. Snatch some hard drive space, as these are around 17-40 gig per rip!
