I'll be picking up the low-end new model as well, but...

Some folks who picked this up at Microcenter yesterday have reported that Leopard and iLife '09 discs are included, which means this is a very sweet deal for an extremely competent machine with full warranty. I bet this sells out quickly across the country.
Would be a more attractive sale if it was the latest Mac Mini.
You may have to be a little more realistic: I doubt the new mini will drop much below $549 or so, and only when it eventually shows up as a refurb. There's no telling when that will be, since Apple is still selling this exact model from Microcenter above for $549.

Yea the cheapest you can get for the low end new model is $549 through the education section unless you get lucky somewhere on ebay.

I hate microcenter so much! I used to live in Chicago and go there occasionally. The people who work there are idiots.. complete morons. Rude, inconsiderate, that place needs just go.. and everyone who works there..
No offense to anyone on here who likes the place.. just an opinion..
